Le Nord Brasserie – Paul Bocuse – Lyon

Le Nord Brasserie of Paul Bocuse is located in the centre of Lyon, just a few steps away from la Rue de la Republique, one of the main street. Le Nord commonly called is one of the four Brasseries owned by Paul Bocuse.

Le Nord is a polished brasserie with red leather booths very comfortable, a high end “Bouchons”, a bit more sofisticated than the other traditional “Bouchons” you will find in the city.

The standard of service is impeccable, charming yet professional. Do not except to come to Le Nord to order a small salad… This Brasserie offers the Lyonnaise cuisine so dear to my heart. A rich comfort food, traditional and a reminder of my childhood. The quality of the ingredients and the execution are always up to Mr Paul’ standards and what standards…!

My favourites dishes on the menu are the Saucission Brioche and of course the traditional Quenelle of Lyon in a crayfish sauce with rice on the site. And if you can squeeze a little desert in…order the warm waffle with a hot chocolate sauce and compote !

For 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 desert, 1L water, 1pot of wine 73.00Euro
