In the world of cosmetics it is easy to forget that natural and organic are best for us. We are constantly bombarded with multi million pound advertising campaign but…is it all really “worth it” at the end ?
This week, I had the opportunity to discover Melvita, a more down to earth beauty products brand, animal free testing, a pioneer in organic beauty. The brand has grown to become one of France’s leading brands of natural and organic cosmetics and slowly making its marks in the UK with stores in St Martin’s Courtyard, Covent Garden and The Exchange Shopping Centre in Putney.
I visited the shop in St Martin’s Courtyard and discovered a wide range of luxury natural products such as Shampoos & Conditioners, hand creams, oils… The shop is lovely with warm colour of orange & fushia, a stunning plant wall and peaceful smells from Rose Nectar, Honey, yellow fruits. The team is fully trained on all the products and are trully passionate about the brand so it makes it easier to find the right products to purchase, although, you could be tempted easily to leave with a huge bag of fantastic treats!!
I absolutely loved the Apicosma Christmas gift- set, the range is inspired by Melvita‘s own beehives and the nourishing properties of honey act on the causes of dry skin.
This fantastic Christmas gift set £30.00 includes a gentle shower gel 200ml, Apicosma Extra Rich hand cream 150ml, mini Apicosma Body Balm, mini acacia honey. Several gift sets are available from the same range so it gives you the freedom to really taylor made your gift and make sure you are buying what is best for you or your guest.
Here is some of my “coup de coeur” from Melvita‘s fantastic ranges of products :
