Cigar Room at The May Fair Hotel

This week I tried The Cigar Room at The May Fair Hotel, what a fantastic way to finish a week long of birthday celebrations ! The place is cosy, super stylish and exclusive  : the ultimate setting for an intimate Rendez Vous or a quiet meeting among friends. No middle aged men or fat Mafioso, the Cigar Room really aims to attract the young and trendy crowd of Mayfair.

The cigars are the undisputed stars at the Cigar Room, each one hand rolled including Cohiba, Montecristo, Partagas, Trinidad, Bolivar, Hoyo de Monterrey, and Santa Damiana.

Don’t let this impressive list to scare you off though, the team is fully trained and can give you great advises to start with. Plus, The May Fair organises a monthly cigar and spirit master-classes should you wish to learn more about it !

Now, if you are a connoisseur, check out the Cigar list online and if you are more into spirits, don’t worry, the Cigar Room is offering a rare and fine collection of Armagnacs, Cognacs and Whiskeys from Scotland, Japan and North America, Rum and Tequila for you to enjoy. Of course, connoisseurs and beginners will agree : cigars and spirits are at there best together !

The Cigar Room will become my after dinner chill out place when in central London…maybe I shouldn’t talk about it too much, I want to keep it for myself !

The Cigar Room at the May Fair is open from 5pm-12am.

  1. Now that looks like my kind of place, although the mark up on those Cognacs and Rums is criminal.
