Cafe Mozart in Vienna

After walking around the historical Vienna, I stopped at Cafe Mozart, a classic Viennese cafe located in the 1st district of Vienna to warm up a bit and sample the world famous Sacher Torte. The cafe was opened in 1794 and named after the famous compositor, a few years after his death.

With comfortable seating and a baroque style, Cafe Mozart is as typical as it gets ! With so many patisseries to choose from it can be tricky to pick just one so here is my recommendation : a slice of Sacher Torte and a coffee…just perfect !

And if you are looking for more salty dishes, ask for a Frittatensuppe – a traditional soup of beef bouillon and sliced pancakes. A real food comfort warmer !
