Le Pavillon de la Reine, Paris

You know my love for boutique hotels by now but this little gem of Le Pavillon de la Reine located in the heart of la Place des Vosges and the vibrant district of Le Marais took away my heart by storm ! It is difficult not to fall in love with the hotel discreet entrance and attentive service.

The Pavillon de la Reine comprises 54 rooms and suites 4 stars all decorated distinctively, using different shades of colours and furniture. I visited few rooms during my stay at the hotel and must say that each of them were wonderful but…I had a hot spot for my suite. Located on the 2nd floor at the end of a corridor, it could not have been more peaceful and quite.

Nothing says more welcome to Paris that a bottle of Champagne !

And if my suite was not enough to make me feel like a princess, the bathroom compromised a bath, two sinks and a rain shower ! What a girl wants at Le Pavillon de la Reine, she gets ! Loved the amenities of Molton Browns refilled daily and the brown mosaic gave a feeling of tranquillity and spa to this bathroom.

Breakfast was served daily in the beautiful salon at reception. A large choice of healthy options and delightful croissant ! Not bad for a breakfast view…so Parisian !

Le Pavillon de la Reine offers the services of a Spa – but appointment must organised as early as possible as it is managed by Carita – who does not have one person on site. Sadly, I did not have the time to experience a relaxing massage or facial but I was impressed with the facilities : 250 m² comprises 2 treatment booths, a gym and Jacuzzi as well as a steam bath.

The hotel is fortunate to have a Clef d’Or Concierge and I cannot recommend you enough the gentleman who daily had to organise my taxi, car transfers, restaurant requests…

WIFI is complimentary and easy to access to, I was on 2 phones, Ipad and laptop in my room without any trouble.
It is a boutique hotel where it feels good to travel for business, as a woman on your own, or as a couple wanting to experience a calm and sophisticated Paris. I fell in love with Le Pavillon de la Reine and although the company as other hotels in the collection, I am not sure I will be able to give away my new Pied a Terre that easily 😉
